For 35 years, Mr. Tuck has practiced primarily in large-loss insurance defense and
medical malpractice defense. Primary areas of practice in insurance defense include automobile
liability (including third-party liability, underinsured and uninsured motorists cases), insurance
broker and insurance agent claims based upon errors and omissions, bad faith liability, vexatious
liability, construction defect lawsuits, general contractor and sub-contractor liability, medical
malpractice defense, and hospital liability defense. His practice also includes mechanics' lien law
in the State of Missouri, including defense of banks and title companies.
Mr. Tuck has been the speaker for the Missouri Organization of Defense Lawyers , Missouri
Creditors Association, Springfield Contractors Association, and a designated speaker for NBI
(National Business Institute) on the topics of both insurance defense and contractors' liability.
Mr. Tuck has been lead counsel in over 80 jury trials for the defense, 4 jury trials for plaintiffs
personal injury claimants, as well as over 15 matters prepared and argued before the 3 regional
Court of Appeals.
Mr. Tuck is married with 5 children. He enjoys fishing, hunting, playing golf, off-road motorcycling and being a basketball and baseball coach for his children.
