Mr. Allen joined Evans & Dixon in 2021, bringing with him a wealth of experience representing corporations and individuals in a broad range of complex commercial matters, including:

While he initially seeks to amicably resolve cases to avoid costly litigation and salvage valuable relationships, he is fully prepared to vigorously protect the client’s interests both inside and outside the courtroom. He has been intimately involved with all phases of litigation for more than twenty years, including case investigation, discovery, dispositive motion practice, jury trials, bench trials, and alternative dispute resolution. His practical yet aggressive approach to ligation has earned him the respect of many of his colleagues, judges, and juries.
Mr. Allen secured the right to practice before Illinois state courts and the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. He also has appeared before various other courts around the country on a pro hac vice basis.

In addition to being devoted to his clients, Mr. Allen is committed to positively changing the way human beings interact with each other. For example, he mentors young attorneys in their personal and professional lives. He is a small group leader at his church, where he helps members transform their personal relationships and maximize their potential. In addition, he has been involved with several not-for-profit organizations that focus on uniting community members and teaching them the heights they can achieve regardless of their racial and/or socioeconomic status.
